08 08 30 Training Komar + Gedda

I’ve been off the Blog for a couple of days while I grappled with some technical issues involving the editing program. Yesterday, I thought, ‘Gosh, you’d better put something out.’ I put together an interim post, and, poof, the Internet connection died on me. By the time it was back up, it was time to go shootski.

Today, I’m back with the fabulous Training of Jozef Komar by Bjorn Gedda. Every time we shoot Jozef, he has a wonderful time, followed by pangs of guilt. Hope by this point he’s getting over the remorse.

08 08 26 Miro Krupka & Schedule Update

We had two shoot cancellations yesterday. When I wrote ‘the schedule would be updated,’ I didn’t take into account there could be cancellations as well as additions. Firstly, Denis Knapo just didn’t show, not the first time for him, a really, really bad sign.

Patrik Lukasz missed his bus from Slovakia to Prague. Patrik has no phone, only email. But we did reach his brother who has a phone. We’ve been told Patrik has purchased a bus ticket for today, and will be here this afternoon at 1500. Let’s hope so. He’s a hottie.

08 08 25 Weekly Shoot Schedule

Below is my shoot schedule for the week of 08 08 25.

Looks like a very promising week. There are some empty slots in the schedule as we are in the dog days of summer. Boris will probably fill in some of them as the week progresses. Check the Blog frequently for updates.

Please keep in mind all times are CET, Prague Time. We also use ‘army time’ for convenience. The schedule is ‘advisory,’ subject to change with little or no notice. Shoots might be canceled or new shoots added (I’ll try to update the changes daily on the Blog). Members can watch the shoots live on PragueBuddies.com.

Below is my Vlog (Video Log) for the Sunday, 08 08 24, Newsletter

I’m trying something a little different with the Kazdodenni Video Show and Podcast below. The Podcast talks you thought the video. What you should do is first press the play button on the video and then quickly press the start button on the Podcast, Quicktime player on top. Then the video and the podcast should be pretty much in sync. This was a great ’solo’ shoot with Alois Kroupa. Rado Pauer, the video cameraman, decided to do another ‘Ambush.’ He’s very, very good at it. Please let me know what you think. A much longer, unexpurgated, near DVD quality version of this ‘gonzo’ video will be released when the Alois is published on the site. Don’t miss it. I’ll remind you in the Blog and Newsletters when they’ll be published.
